Aquor's hydrants are quick-connect faucets that utilize a single operating rod to engage and disengage water flow, plus they look pretty sleek!

So, what are the differences between each hydrant, and which hydrant is best for your water access needs? Keep reading to find out.

House Hydrant V1+Aquor Water Systems House Hydrant V1+

The House Hydrant V1+ is a residential wall faucet, recommended for retrofit applications. The vacuum breaker is built into the connector. This model has a circular design which requires a 1½” diameter installation hole.  Aquor House Hydrant V1+ modern outdoor faucet

    *Note: If your area’s plumbing code requires a built-in vacuum breaker for outdoor faucets, then we recommend the V2+ House Hydrant.

    House Hydrant V2+Aquor Water Systems House Hydrant V2+

    The House Hydrant V2+ is a residential wall faucet, recommended for new construction applications. The vacuum breaker is built into the hydrant faceplate.     The base kit includes:

      Ground Hydrant Aquor Water Systems Ground Hydrant

      The Ground Hydrant is a yard hydrant, recommended for in-ground applications. The check valve is built into the connector. This model has a circular design which requires an in-ground installation hole approximately 2 ft. in diameter and 1 ft. deeper than the total length.

      The base kit includes:

        Universal Hydrant   Aquor Water Systems Universalt Hydrant

        The Universal Hydrant is a versatile multi-use hydrant, recommended for a variety of applications including, but not limited to, outdoor decks, showers, baths, kitchens, and vehicles.         Marine Deckwash Aquor Water Systems Marine Deckwash

        The base kit includes:

        RV City Water InletAquor Water Systems RV City Water Inlet

        The RV City Water Inlet is an in/out fill hydrant, recommended for a variety of vehicle applications such as camper and RV use. The included connector does NOT have a check valve, however, when purchased separately the Removable Faucet Hose Connector does have a built-in check valve.         Aquor Terminology

        Retrofit - In this case, to swap in a new hydrant for your existing outdoor faucet.

        Vacuum breaker - Prevents backflow. Meets ASSE and CSA plumbing code requirements. Located in the Wide Grip VB Hose Connector (included with the V1+), Vacuum Breaker Hose Connector, Comfort Grip VB Hose Connector, and the V2+ hydrant faceplate.

        Check valve - Prevents the back-flow of dirt and debris. Not as robust as a vacuum breaker.

        Inlet - The removable back portion of the hydrant which connects to your plumbing. All Aquor hydrants come with a Standard ½” NPT Straight Inlet. If needed, swap in another inlet to better suit your installation setup.

        Polymer - Durable plastic. UV resistant.

        EPDM - Extremely durable synthetic rubber.
