So far I'm very pleased with this hydrant! It was the only solution I could find for adding an inconspicuous water outlet to the front of the house. I installed it vertically in a overhang and it worked perfectly. The 90° pex adapter worked great for my location and was easy to install for having never done pex.

On my 2013 Sabre 42 Salon Express, i had 3 older Jabsco deck washdown. These older models had only 2 prongs. It was difficult to insert the adapter. The adapter were getting crewed up and they don't make these two prong adapters anymore. I replaced them with this updated model from aquor with three prongs. It was a direct replacement-the mounting holes were exactly the same, and the threaded connection was the same. It took me about 45 minutes total to change the three I had on my boat.
I ordered 5 Matt black outdoor hydrants and they look awesome and work perfectly. Locking in the adapters takes a little getting used to but a couple of attempts and you’ll be all set. Removing the adapter causes the line to drain which is both satisfying and low maintenance.
I am extremely happy with our Aquor House Hydrant V1+! It's outstanding and I couldn't find anything like it on the market. It's evidently built from high quality materials that will last. We live in the UK with a brick house on a pedestrianised street so we didn't want a typical outdoor tap as people may be tempted to tamper with it. This one is very discreet and noone will know what it is. I'd highly recommend it! The only thing I will mention is that when we hired a plumber, it took him longer than anticipated to install it as it is a unique outdoor tap. Also, it didn't seem to work with an additional dual-check valve which the plumber ended up removing (so I'd mention this to your plumber to speed-up troubleshooting). However, this is not an issue as there is built-in backflow prevention within this unit and the hose attachments. Finally, I'd recommend buying the plastic Hozelock "threaded tap connector" size 26.5mm / 3/4", as the metal one did not fit the hose attachment.
