10 Years of Aquor Products
It's been ten years (and some change) since Aquor's first product, the House Hydrant V1, was created. The company has continued to launch innovative outdoor water faucets along with high-quality lawn and garden products. Let's take a peek at what Aquor has been up to over the years.
1999 - Marine Deckwash

Aquor's quick-connect, marine-grade stainless steel Hydrants stem from cofounder and CEO Cash Walcome's father, Richard Walcome, who created the durable, flush-mounted Marine Deckwash in the '90s.
Boats and docks require regular cleaning, and the Marine Deckwash makes quick water access a breeze in marine environments. Plus, its sleek, low-profile design helps reduce snagging and tripping hazards—an important feature in tight spaces. No one wants to trip and take a surprise dip!
Made from 316L stainless steel, it stands up to harsh marine conditions, eliminating corrosion concerns and the need for frequent replacements.
2014 - House Hydrant V1

Getting ready to graduate and face the real world, University of Washington student Cash saw the opportunity to improve outdated, ugly hose bibs. Standard spigots stick out like a sore thumb on homes, often leak, and are a pain to use. Richard's quick-connect Deckwash could be adapted for residential use—instead of endlessly twisting spigot knobs and threading hoses on and off, homeowners would be able to simply plug their hose into the Hydrant and enjoy instant water access.
Unplugging the Hydrant eliminates the need for traditional winterization, as it automatically drains upon disconnection. The shut-off point is located well inside the home’s insulated walls, preventing frozen or burst pipes. No unsightly foam covers needed! Stainless steel is seven times more frost-resistant than brass, further enhancing the Hydrant's freeze-proof design.
The V1 was easy to retrofit, making it possible for homeowners to swap in this new, innovative outdoor faucet for their old leaky hose bibs. Talk about an upgrade! Kamil Slusarski joined as cofounder, followed by Shawn Tramble as Aquor's first sales team member—Aquor became real.
2016 - House Hydrant V2

After winning the 2015 Best of IBS Award for Best Outdoor Living Product and earning a spot in This Old Houses's Top 100 Products of 2015, Cash and Kamil knew they were onto something. The House Hydrant V2 was introduced in 2016 to provide backflow protection—its built-in vacuum breaker made it suitable for new construction. In many regions, backflow protection must be integrated into the Hydrant itself for the faucet to meet code.
2017 - Ground Hydrant

Looking for more ways to expand and simplify outdoor water access, the company introduced the Ground Hydrant in 2017. Installed directly into the ground, this Hydrant makes watering larger properties easier. Similar to Aquor’s other Hydrants, the Ground Hydrant can sit flush with the soil, reducing tripping hazards and allowing lawn mowers to pass right over it.
2018 - Universal Hydrant

The Aquor team saw more opportunity for growth and released the Universal Hydrant in 2018. This Hydrant is perfect for deck installations and unique applications, as it can be installed vertically, horizontally, or even upside down! It's short stem length and small swivel cover make it great for vehicle and bathroom installations as well. The quest to make water access easy for nearly everyone, everywhere, continued.
Aquor earned another Best of IBS Award for Best Outdoor Living Product in 2018. The company was on a roll.
2019 - RV City Water Inlet

In 2019 the RV City Water Inlet entered the scene. This multi-purpose inlet is similar to the Universal Hydrant, although it includes a plug cover, which is ideal for adventure vehicles on the go. Both the RV City Water Inlet and Universal Hydrant can be installed as an inlet or an outlet, making water usage extra versatile—ideal for tank-fills or water hookups.
2019 - House Hydrant V2+

The team revisited the V2 design in 2019, making the built-in vacuum breaker more discrete by creating a completely flush Hydrant faceplate. It was time to phase out the Hydrant's "belly button," as the team endearingly calls it. The V2+ was born.
2019 - House Hydrant V1+

Wanting to provide back-flow protection for V1 Hydrants, Aquor released the V1+—a V1 Hydrant paired with a vacuum-breaker connector. Now homeowners with original V1 installs could protect their clean water supply by simply swapping in the new hose connector. New customers could also upgrade their old hose bibs with complete peace of mind. Later on, the V1+ would be paired with a different vacuum-breaker connector, the Wide Grip.
In December, Aquor took home two awards at TecHome Builder Summit: Best Overall and Best Water Saving Device. The wins kept coming for the small yet mighty team.
2021 - Comfort Grip Hose Connector

After several years of Hydrant innovation, it was time to truly upgrade the hose connector. Anvil Studios, an award-winning product design studio located in Seattle, helped create the Comfort Grip, focusing on both aesthetics and function. The sleek, modern look paired with an ergonomic structure make water access a breeze. Plus, this connector offers flow-control as well. Television series America ByDesign featured Aquor's Comfort Grip Hose Connector in Episode 3 of Season 4—what an amazing opportunity!
2024 - Hot+Cold

In January 2024, the long-awaited Hot+Cold Hydrant was released. This single-dial Hydrant provides convenient tempered outdoor water. The Hydrant can be used to wash cars, bathe pets (and muddy children), connect to outdoor showers, top off hot tubs, or comfortably clean garden tools and outdoor equipment. Standard outdoor faucets are quite unsightly, so Aquor aimed to offer a more modern aesthetic while staying true to the company's marine-grade stainless steel roots.
2024 - Mixing Valve RV/Marine

Aquor's next goal was to provide tempered water for adventure vehicles and marine use. In October 2024, the company released the Mixing Valve for RV/Marine. This mixing valve features a single dial for temperature control and can be paired with the RV City Water Inlet, Marine Deckwash, or a third party hydrant. Its smaller size and footprint make it ideal for tight spaces on RVs and boats. Showering outdoors while enjoying nature has never sounded more appealing.
2025 - Hose Reel

With several faucets available to suit a variety of outdoor water access needs, it was finally time to expand further into the Lawn and Garden Space. Aquor released The Retractable Hose Reel in March of 2025. The reel neatly stores 80 feet of hose when not in use and features an automatic rewind system, a locking mechanism, and stainless fittings. Built to last with UV-resistant materials, a 5/8" x 80' hose, and a 180° swivel mount, it’s perfect for gardening, washing, and cleaning. While similar hose reels were already on the market, Aquor wanted to offer a more visually appealing option backed by the company's promise of high quality and stellar customer service.
The Hose Reel and Hot+Cold Hydrant were recognized for excellence in innovation and design by Red Dot, a prestigious design award worth noting.
2025 - Spray Nozzle

The Utility Spray Nozzle joined the scene in spring 2025 as well, offering current and potential Aquor customers a sleek nozzle option to complement their watering setups. Aquor's nozzle can be used for washing cars, rinsing off equipment, watering plants, and keeping nosy neighbors at bay. The jet-to-cone stream makes this accessory versatile; dual-adjustable dials allow customizable water flow and spray patterns, while the design boasts a sleek silhouette. The locking mechanism and soft grip ensure comfort during long jobs, and its lead-free, corrosion-resistant construction makes the nozzle ideal for a variety of tasks. Pair the nozzle with Aquor's Ultralight Garden Hoses, Coil Hoses, or any standard hose.
2025 - Premium V2+ Matte Black

The original Aquor House Hydrants came with Aquor Blue Polymer or Slate Gray Polymer debris covers. Over the years, Aquor made additional cover options available to match a variety of aesthetics: Brushed Stainless Steel, Matte Black Stainless Steel, Matte White Stainless Steel, and a limited batch of Gold-Plated Stainless Steel. In August 2025, the company released the ultimate Hydrant package—a Matte Black House Hydrant V2+ paired with a new all-black Comfort Grip Hose Connector. The aesthetic speaks to modern luxury, perfect for those who want the best of the best.
2025 - Y-Splitter

After receiving requests for a Y-Splitter for years, Aquor finally gave the people what they wanted in September 2025. The Garden Hose Y-Splitter features dual shut-off valves, stainless steel ball valves and garden hose threads, as well as a durable UV-stabilized body for long-lasting performance. Now homeowners can water the garden and clean up their outdoor space simultaneously!
2025 - Premium V2+ Stainless Steel

Following the ultra-premium path, in October 2025 Aquor upgraded the Brushed Stainless V2+ to include a gray Comfort Grip Connector—offering flow control and an ergonomic grip. For those who want a more affordable V2+ option, the Slate Gray Polymer V2+ is still available. This Hydrant comes with the streamlined Straight Connector.
Although Aquor Hydrants are often installed on luxury, modern homes, they're suitable for nearly any type of dwelling—new or old, big or small. Water access should be a hassle-free experience for everyone.
Stay tuned for more faucet varieties and accessories!
