Really cool products.
I use this as a fresh water washdown port on my boat. The low profile is perfect and keeps it out of the way
Highly recommended
And on top of it all, I received a beautiful handwritten note thanking me for my business. Very sweet and classy.
I like that it is self draining, stainless steel ensures no corrosion. I like the way it looks, I had new siding installed on the house the old hose bibs had to be removed to accommodate the new siding, instead of reinstalling the old ones I choose to get the Aquor ones. I bought 2 12" lengths but I should have got one as a 10", 12" is a little too close to the floor joist so I have to figure out how to connect to existing copper piping without hitting the joist, even using a 90° elbow it's a close fit. I am using PEX tubing with adapters to copper. The 12" one I have installed and is working good. Overall happy with it .
this accessory definitely makes quick work of connecting the hose to an ordinary faucet. mine had a small irregularity with extra metal on the inside ring which i might have to file down but other than that it's really nice. this doesn't work like the Aquor connections where the water shuts off once you unplug the hose. with this accessory, water will flow through it once the faucet is open. the water flow control happens at the faucet valve
I have had trouble with the mixing valve / cartridge leaking. Aquor sent me a new part which also leaked, & then sent me a new hydrant which so far has not had a problem. The hydrant seems to be of high quality. Customer service has been great to work with I’m hoping that this will solve the problem .
We purchased these faucets and connectors for all of our outdoor faucets, around 9 years ago. Bought them for aesthetics as well as function. Salt air would have nothing to disintegrate. Freezing temperatures would have nothing to burst. And a nice clean look on our home. Loved them. After almost a decade it was time to replace the connectors. The new connectors have a different off and on direction. So far I have replaced them two, possibly three times over. The knob just breaks off because it's not a natural way to turn on and off. Still look great, still prevent freezing. But I question the new direction. Typically its 12 o'clock is off and 6 o'clock is on ( a right turn). New direction is 9 o'clock is off and 3 o'clock is on (a left turn). It does not come natural to us.
