Teak block is pre-drilled for faucet mounting but not pre-drilled for the block to be mounted on surface. Does what it’s designed for.

I ordered three of these teak mounting blocks prior to installing my three hydrants and am happy that I did. They are solid, nicely finished teak with pre-drilled holes. Mounting could not be easier. This is an install on an existing structure, so I notched my cedar shingles so that the mounting block was perfectly perpendicular and this ensured that the hydrant was pitched correctly upon installation. Using the mounting block resulted in a very nice finished look to my installation - I couldn't be happier!

The mounting box kit includes all hardware, durable screws, and a very nice matte black finish. Everything is durable, sturdy and square...Definitly built with quality! I highly recommend if you are doing new construction, allows ease for exterior contractors to mount directly to the box, and allows you to install the hose bib before siding goes on without having to rework anything installed.

I ordered the mounting plates because on all my spigots they made a larger hole than necessary in the brick. I was surprised that the plates are of very good quality, not some flimsy metal. They will work well for installation.

Having a mounting block that is as durable as the faucet and meets my need for clap siding is a must. This teak wood block meets all my needs for a near permanent solution for my work. All products from Aquor are first class and make my installation as high end as I wanted.
