Had 2 V-1 hydrants installed and it's so cool to not see anything dripping. The look is cool too and easy enough for a couple of septuagenarians to connect.
I bought one for my back yard and quickly bought a second one for my front yard. It is well constructed, works great, and doesn't leak. I love that I can quickly remove the reel from the wall and store it in my garage for the winter.
I own two of these. The ability to adjust the flow in addition to the spray pattern is a game changer. This is the only nozzle I will buy moving forward.
I’ve had issues with cheap spikets. Every few years they start leaking and are damaged internally with my hard water. This system will help me forever avoid those issues. With limited plumbing experience I was able to swap out both easily. I used a 1/2 inch clamp to secure the pex tube to the 1/2 pex connection. Love it so far!
